Mashrou' Leila

is a Lebanese seven-member alternative rock band. The band formed in Beirut, Lebanon in 2008 as a music workshop at the American University of Beirut. Led by frontman and co-founder Hamed Sinno, the band has released two studio albums while causing numerous controversies due to their satirical lyrics and themes.

Lyrics:
3al 7ajiz (At the Checkpoint):
Psst psst psst cutie
Unzip the bag
Park to the right
License and registration please
Where from? Where to?
Your ID dear
What’s with the hair?
*Flirt*[1]
He’s still sitting, in his place
Still stuck to me, holding his gun
His hair’s styled, that’s all he’s worried about
Coming to attack me, his chest inflated
You fucker, you cunt, where you headed to Zantout?[2]
You fucker, you cunt, where you headed to Zantout?
I’m dying
Psst psst psst cutie
Unzip the bag , to the right
Brother, open the trunk, and come out with your papers
Yeah, tough luck
My house is here, I’m not here to blow it up
Forgot about the universe, made me his priority
So I shut up, seeing that
My mother’s tear is worth more than him
And his sister, grandmother, brother, grandfather, father, uncle (from his mother’s side), and uncle (from his father’s side)
His aunt, uncle (from his mother’s side), grandmother, daughter, and uncle (from his father’s side)
I’m dying
I miss you
While you are with me
I miss you and find my world in you[3]
I miss you
While you are with me
I miss you and find my world in you
He’s still sitting, in his place
Still stuck to me, pissed off now
You fucker, you cunt, where you headed to Zantout?
You fucker, you cunt, where you headed to Zantout?
I’m dying
1- I can’t come up with anything for “ah yo2bosh”, which is just a greasy flirt/ tolteeshe’.
2- These are probably not exact, but I just replaced the swear words with two I thought were close enough, and Zantout is a family name.
3- Excerpts from a song by Wardah el Jazaeeria.

3D ART

Two 3D street artists, Joe & Max , have created a Guinness World Record breaking painting of plunging cliffs and waterfalls on a London street. To promote the launch of the CrossFit which is a revolutionary strength and conditioning programme.
The amazing 3D street art was sponsored by Reebok CrossFit, whose brand ethos is all about reaching your physical, mental and social potential. Anyone can take part in the Reebok CrossFit workout of the day on the massive 12,490 square foot painting at West India Quays and Canary Wharf in London.
The painting, unveiled on 17 November 2011 (Global Guinness World Records Day), features a waterfall in a deep canyon image, as a ‘fun and thrilling’ outdoor workout experience.

Jeita Grotto.. Heaven on Earth!!

Jeitta Grotto, one of the amazing places in Lebanon; I've visited this place, seriously, i was amazed.. what you see in these pictures are all made by its own; it is inside a huge mountain in Lebanon.. For your information, in summer this place becomes cold, and in the winter; it becomes really warm.. It  is located 20 km north of beirut in the Valley of Nahr al-Kalb (Dog River). It is all made of Limestone caves, upper galleries and a lower cave through which a 6230 m long river runs. In this cave and galleries, the action of water in the limestone has created cathedral-like vaults full of various sizes, colors and shapes; majestic and fantastic rock formations.
Lebanon is asking for all people who love this country to vote for this incredible place to become one of the 7 wonders of the world.. I have voted twice till now, and im still voting.. i hope you all show some support by voting..

A women decides to hang out with her friends at, approximately, 10.30 pm.. while crossing the road to get to her car, 2 guys on a motorcycle grabbed her bag and dragged her on purpose, but that women kept on holding her bag and did not let them get away with it.. later on that women calls the government and it turned that everyone was sleeping and no one has answered her phone calls; while she really needed their help.. But when MTV Lebanon published the story on the news, she found more than 50 missed calls from the government. People are so unfair in Lebanon, there is no secure and people are treated cruelly, the government must find a way to fix this problem and show some care.

BMW; one of my favorite brand of cars.. while checking the new cars of bmw on youtube; i found this amazing car that truely amazed and fascinated me.. its a car that we've never seen before, finally a car made with new ideas; outside the box.
Its called BMW Gina that is obviously made of different outer skin, which is made out of textile fabric that is pulled around a frame of metal and carbon fiber waves. The lights are like blinking eyes.. these kind of weird ideas extend to the interior, where BMW designers have made the instruments, that we constantly need, visible; While the others are like the car's lights, when you need any of the other instruments they will be shown, when you don't they will return invisible... more than 2 million people have seen this video and most consider it one of the most unique and incredible invention that will be made.

Check This Out!!

Lebanon was having a really hard time; everyone was focusing on the politics, economy and how badly they effected the Lebanese citizens. Then suddenly this video was released at the 15th of march; trying to help Lebanese people to get back on their feet. This video was taken in Beirut Duty Free Departures. It wasn't shown on TVs, but media has helped it to be seen by many people, epecially by Lebanese people; because of how much they love their country; they have shared, and posted it on facebook, twitter, and all these social networks. They wanted to show their traditions and dances to all people; and their main thing in life is to be happy, party.. etc.

For all Metallica fans! finally Metallica are having a concert at Yas Island in Abu dhabi at the 25th of october..
It's gonna be a blast!!

Iphone 5!!!

Yes that's the iphone 5 that has not been released yet. Obviously it has different and new features that most of the people don't believe and think that it is just a rumor. According to me, it was a shock when i first saw the video, i kind of didn't believe it too.. but if its true, then that would be the most amazing, and successful invention they would ever do.

Where do we go now?

Nadine Labaki, a famous Lebanese director who co-wrote, and directed a film "Caramel"
in which that film became famous all around the world. After that huge success, Nadine Labaki comes with an amazing new movie called 'Where do we go now?'.. It mostly talks about the conflicts between Muslims and Christians. It also shows people's attitudes and relations between each other during the conflicts.
I recommend everyone to watch it because it talks about how Lebanese people used to live during civil wars.
